My Love.

Today is my third anniversary to my wonderful love of my life Joey.

Joey is truly one of the most remarkable people I have ever met. He is so genuine and passionate. He can be so open and yet so reserved at times. He is a hard worker. He's a man that stands up for what he believes in. Every time. No matter what. He's strong. He loves the Lord with all his heart. And let's be honest, he's hot.

I think this year of our marriage has been my favorite. We are learning more about each other than ever. You would think that after 4 years of dating and 3 years of being married we would have a pretty good handle on each other, but there's still so much to learn.  This year has been our most difficult year together in terms of all the hard things that happened. I can honestly say that having gone through everything with Joey this year that I am more confident than ever that Joey being my husband was God-ordained. I am more confident in Joey and who God has called him to be in Mt. Carmel for this time and this season than I ever have been. I am just blessed to be the one standing beside him through it all. Really. I am blessed and entrusted with such a precious gift from the Lord to be able to help carry the burdens of a man called to equip a generation. It is such a precious and important thing to be this man's wife.

So Joey, this morning thanked God for these past few years I've got to spend as your wife and asked Him for a million more. I quickly heard your voice in my head reminding me that the Lord would return much before that. You also said something about the tribulation :) Regardless of how many are left, I look forward to spending them all with you.
