Enough.
A few weeks ago our pastor Shane said that he had received a word from the Lord that as a church we were getting ready to go through a season of great refreshing which would be followed by a season of great drought. He said that in this season of refreshing we need to be like Joseph and really receive from the Lord a lot so that in the dry times we have something and we can give to others.
See, I really believe that God speaks to us.
And I really believe that my pastor hears from the Lord - especially regarding our church.
So ever since that word, I've really sensed an increase in the presence of God. And let me tell you I cannot be more grateful that I can feel God. I mean really feel him. It's incredible. But this word has really been troubling me. It's there in the back of my mind. I just keep wondering how long the increase will last and when the decrease will start and how long will it last. So I've been pondering it in my mind and just talking to the Lord about it and trying to make sure I'm soaking up all all of it I can.
So over the past few days I've really been thinking hard about this and this is what the Lord is showing me: This season isn't about how much you can feel God - it's about how much is God enough for you. It's about one drop of His blood covers it. It's about any amount of Him is enough. He's enough.
Lord, help us to see You as enough. Help us Lord to the extent to which You are enough. And thanks for the season of refreshing. And for the season of drought. I bless Your holy name.
